EUROPEAN COUNCIL FOR ECONOMICS & BUSINESS

It was announced by Dr. Majid Khalil Hussein, President of the International Federation of Economists and Administrators in the European Union, assigning His Excellency Dr. Maysir Siddiq, Vice-President of the Federation, during the second regional forum for social responsibility held in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, from 26-28 December 2015

And in the presence of representatives of the Council of Ambassadors of the International Federation for Social Responsibility in the European Union countries. Presenting the Presidential Union Shield to His Excellency Field Marshal Omar Hassan al-Bashir, President of the Republic of Sudan, as well as His Excellency Field Marshal Abdul Rahman Suwar al-Dhahab, given the role of their Excellency in supporting social responsibility in Arab societies, and their sponsorship of the Forum and harnessing the capabilities to make it a success.

Also, during the ceremony, His Excellency Dr. Ali Abdullah Al Ibrahim, Vice President of the Federation and President of the Regional Network for Social Responsibility, was honored for his great effort in making the events of the forum a success.

Sudan's sponsorship of the forum comes with the aim of raising awareness about social responsibility and strengthening it among the various societal sectors, as well as shedding light on humanitarian projects. During the forum, Khartoum was chosen as the capital of social responsibility.
