His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, was awarded the Federation Prize in International Relations for the year 2013

The Union chose His Highness to grant His Highness the award to be the first person to receive this award in international relations for the mechanisms he provided for international cooperation and to achieve and highlight peace among peoples on the international arena and to present and raise the name of the Kingdom of Bahrain at the international level through wise international policy. In his speech, His Royal Highness expressed the award

This is a great honor for us and the Kingdom of Bahrain, and such international appreciation clearly demonstrates the distinguished efforts made by the government and people of Bahrain, in cooperation with the international community.
